How do I get wireless internet on my laptop?

I have wireless internet on my other laptop alrerady, not too sure how, but i would like to know how to do it on this one. It is telling me No wireless networks were found in range. Make sure the wireless switch is on. Anyone know how I can get wireless internet?

1. well look for an on/off tiny switch around your laptop usually located in the front or the sides. turn it on see if that helps. if not then go to network settings and set up a wireless network. type in your existing network name and then the key if you have one. now it should be up and running.
2. "No wireless networks were found in range" this indicates to me that you either don't have a wireless router or that your IP address has not been assigned to your computer by your router. Connect your laptop to your router using an e-net cable. restart your laptop. The router should assign an IP address to the laptop. Good Luck
3. ok some laptops dont have swiches so you need to roam around where you live(the town) with your laptop on untill it finds a conection try libraries they often have DSL and if you ask nicly they can help you set up your system for wireless.
